About the Owner:
Hi, my name is Janja Watson (Yanya). I’m the owner and creative force behind Jewel Web & Design. As a graphic and web designer with several years of experience in this field, I am happy to work with you on your website and graphic design needs.
Originally from Switzerland, I got a degree as a master jeweler and eventually a gemology degree in the US. I had been a jeweler for over 17 years, when the slow economy and my love for creation drew me back to school to get my graphic and web design degree.
In 2008, I opened my own business Jewel Web & Design. During my early graphic design career I had time to enter several design competitions and was chosen for several awards including Best Logo, Poster Design, Best of Show and more.
While I still enjoy making jewelry from scratch, I love that I’m still able to use my imagination in my new career. Oddly enough I also enjoy going into code to turn a design into a working website.
I enjoy the creative aspect of the business as well as the interaction with my clients. Creating beautiful looking websites and designs with great customer service is my mission.

Kerry is the technical genius who created the custom framework on which we build most of our custom websites. We have found that most themes are overly bloated with functions and options that only slow down a website. Our blank theme framework is built to work with the native WordPress blocks to provide flexibility with seo friendly framework and speed.
Always innovative, always out of the box, his knowledge and ethics have been a big part of our theme and plug-in development.
Mert
After more than 25 years in sales, marketing, management, and executive leadership, Mert founded Partners in Local Search to provide his clients with superior search engine marketing.
Mert’s superb skill set includes extensive success breaking into new markets and establishing new business clients, excellent understanding of technology and oral and written communication skills, persistent, respectful attitude and integrity in client relations. He is Certified in Google AdWords, Display Advertising and a Google Preferred Partner.
